I am a bibliophile and word lover at heart! I love all things language and have dedicated my life to nerding out about all the information I can grab regarding it. (Thank you number one Input strength from CliftonStrengths.)
I am a first-generation college student and graduate of The Ohio State University. Go Bucks! There, I obtained a bachelor’s in English and Criminology. I now attend Ashland University, studying for my MFA in poetry. I have taught grades 5-8 in English Language Arts, as well as Correctional Education (CE) students through Ashland.
I have written and published three books of poetry – Extremities, To the Afterlife, and Echoes of Love. You can take a preview of them here, on my book page. I am working on another manuscript for my Ashland thesis and have a chapbook floating about in submission slush.
You can find my work in Orangepeel Magazine, Clever Fox Literary Magazine, Ohio Bards Poetry Anthology: Poetry by Ohio Poets from 2023 and 2024, The Youth Outlook Magazine, Yuvaah Magazine, and Sunbowzine. It has also been featured in a TEDxOSU salon event and a few libraries native to the Columbus, OH area.
When I’m not writing, going to author events, or performing at open mics, I like to travel to France, create a drawing or painting, or pet the nearest friendly neighborhood dog.
